Atlanta punk band New Junk City writes heartfelt, catchy tunes that have been described as "Tom Petty sings Good Charlotte." One savvy reviewer supposed that they must have spent their childhood listening to their parents Gin Blossoms CD in the car, which the band is fine with, except it wasn't their parents' and it was definitely a Blink-182 CD. Currently on tour nowhere, you can find their music on the internet.
New Junk City's "High in the Morning" has zesty sausage, earthy broccoli, salty feta, and spicy giardiniera melding into a delicious combination that is exciting and new.
New Junk City are donating their 10% of the proceeds to The Safer Foundation, an Illinois based not-for-profit that provides employment, education, and supportive services to individuals with criminal records since 1972. Grab a slice and support a good cause!
